Well, just finished aligning ARK4. Everything worked, incuding the keyer. Made
my 1st QSO with W8VEL, 579 report! Very nice little rig. I have to run it off
my gel cell, though, because at 13.4 volts, it puts out QRO! (6.6W). At 12V it
drops back to 4.5, legal QRP, hi!
Much "busier" kit than say, the Sierra. NOT a first time project! Even with the
toroids prewound, and excellent manual, it is not for the faint of heart, but
is worth it!
