Brad..are you sure the bookmark file is gone? It's possible that
N'scape went whack-o and simply can't find it.

You might go to File Manager and do a Search for bookmark.htm.
If found, copy it to a safe location, reinstall N'scape, then copy the
bookmark.htm into the re-installed N'scape.

I keep a copy of bookmark.htm (the one with all my much-valued
adresses) in a folder called "archive". Then when I install
a new version of N'scape, I copy the old bookmarks into the
new N'scape.

Good luck,
Bill

YOU WROTE:

"This morning I brought up Netscape to go look at something on the Internet, and
when I attempted to use my VVEEERRRRRYY long bookmark file, it crashed on me
and reverted to the Netscape default bookmark file. I was very attached to
that file and now it's gone forever. No more QRZ database, no more ARRL web
site, no more Goat Locker (go figure that one out), and NO MORE daily dose of
Dilbert.

Guess it's time to start building it again. Arrrgghhhh.

Oh, well.
