OK Guys & Gals & Others...

The QRP bug is biting a bit harder. I have a bit of driving (4 six
hour trips each way) to do in the next few months and have a 20m MFJ
qrp rig with the keyer, etc. Have the paddles, extra battery, don't
take anybody with me, so.....

I need recommendations for a 20 M vertical for the car that will fit on
the Diamond trunk mount. The end of the antenna that I use, a 2m/44O,
is an exact match to a PL-259 connector. Any manufacturer out there
make an HF antenna that can mate up to this? Any experiences? If the
20m vertical is taller, will I run into problems at my normal cruising
speed of 75 mph? (neglect the "law" issues...) This should be a whole
lot more fun that VHF FM (my opinion is constantly dropping).

I am making a strap for my thigh to accommodate the paddles. I used to
have a straight key from WWII for the same purpose.

So, 25 wpm at 75 mph.... or is that 75 wpm at 25 mph?

Best 72 & 73 de Ron, WA1UWZ
