We "local" ScQRPions will be hammering out our QRPTTF plans
at our meeting on Saturday. Though since we had those UFO
sightings here in Phoenix last month, we figure we don't
actually have to leave town to be in a "strange and unusual"
site. :-) Besides, being the only state with a governor
facing more than a dozen felony counts, AZ is strange and
unusual enough no matter where you are. ;-)
I may end up stuck at home for the contest. :( But on a
brighter note, that'd give me a chance to use the Fox Raider
2001 Super RF Generator. Figure I don't have a chance of a
big score without a field multi, but I can pass out a heck
of alot of QSOs to everyone else.
Still like the idea of operating from Meteor Crater Nat'l
Monument though.... QRP operating from a QRO impact site. :)

"If we took the bones out they wouldn't be crunchy, would they?"
