More lessons learned from last night - now that I am awake !!!
Being in the N/T+ segment of 40m does not mean you will get N/T+ answers
to the CQ. Any of our member N/T+ folks out there who need Colorado and
would like a more casual QSO for their WAS, let me know and we can set
something up separate. I found the QRM (broadcast or ham) a bit
intimidating myself. If we set up a separate schedule, both sides can
be more relaxed and not rushed. I like a bit of ragchewing myself. FSFM
is useful, but has a tendency to be short and terse. Anyway, I think such
individual skeds (so to speak) can be quite beneficial to both sides.
My logging system needs some revision. I imagine I confused a lot of
RST's in my email report due to the fact that I didn't have separate
columns for RST sent/rec'd.
Still can't get over that response to my QRL? It was as if I was listening
and whispering "anyone using this frequency??", only to hear someone yell
back, "YES!!!!!!". Such a kick - I just have to smile !!
