Gang,
NorCal is happy to announce the availability of the NC 38 Special kit
with an exotic touch! The manual, including Ori's troubleshooting, Paul
Harden review, and some excerpts from the QRP-L have been translated
into Spanish by ea2sn and we are ready to ship "38 Especiales"
everywhere. No, the name hasn't changed, it's still "38 Special", just
a joke.
Anyway, for those of you willing to send a gift to some Mexican or
South-american folks, or some Spanish-speaking neighbor, here is a
chance for you to share and enjoy.
You will have to contact Jim for he has to get the copies ready as well
as the kits. Jim Cates is at <mailto:wager@juno.com>
And as for the prices, I guess there is no change: the Spanish manuals
are on me.
By the way, NorCal is working with the latest production techniques:
the JIT (just in time). Jim got the originals from me yesterday, and
yesterday also the current issue of "Radioaficionados" was expected to
hit the mailboxes of some 20000 Spanish hams...
My only hope now is that there will be a bunch of 38S-38S QSOs next
Summer crossing the Atlantic :-)
Be well.
jon, ea2sn
P.S.: The School of Engineering where I teach celebrates today, April 2,
100 years! What a coincidence!
