Well, I sure hope it is. The announcement is at the top of his web
page (there is a link to it from the Norcal page: Note the change
in the Norcal URL .../~jparker/norcal.html). A friend of mine has
the Small Wonders 75m SSB and really liked it (and it was just reviewed
favorably in QST). However, I sort of like trying new stuff. I
figured Karl had tested out the Small Wonders rig, figured I would try
out Dan's version and we could see how they compare.

I am also interested in the SGC QRP +++ but I have heard quite a few
more confirmations regarding that merger here on this list. But of
course we will all have to wait until Sept. until we really know. My
biggest concern is that it appears that the receive current draw on it
has risen substantially compared to the Index Labs version based on the
specs that I have seen on this list. On the other hand my thought is
that it would probalby be a wash for me: The new version is expected to
be smaller and lighter so I would just have to carry in more battery
instead of more radio. (For sea kayak portable).

sea kayaking, sailing and sailboarding).
