Give some nail polish a chance. Seriously, use a bright red so you can easily
see where you have placed it. Its really only colored lacquer. I find many
uses for the stuff, especially later when you may want to change your mind
and have to remove it. Easier then glue.
ps. I have been using it for years in place of collodian to keep the slip
covers in place on microscope slides.
