Shielded tunable coil values???

I have several of the shielded tunable coils in cans about 0.5" cube.
The circular adjustments in the top are various colors - red - yellow -
green, etc. Is there any standard relating the colors to the value of
the inductance? (These coils are marked "Apollo Corp.")

I have another group of coils from a Ten-Tec kit where, for instance, the
yellows are 1.3uH and the blues 2.8uH. Does this mean that the coils of the
same color in the other group are of equal value??

Any information on this would be appreciated.
