Hello group:
Methinks qrp'ers are the most misunderstood group in hamdom....
Contact today on 40m cw with Baton Rouge station, he gave my qrp signal
a 589, but then when I told him I was running my Ten Tec Century 21 at
5 watts, he began to berate me and saying that I was making it hard for
the other guy, and I should turn my rig up to full steam (30w)!
Guess that would have given me another 7 or 8 db, maybe brought up my
MEAGER 589.
Needless to say, I did not linger too long with this station...
O well, guess some people have trouble copying a 589 signal!!
