Anyone had one of these develop an intermittent where it will seem to work
when first powered up on AC adapter, but then seems to not output from
memories after awhile? And in fact goes mute or won't reset?
Have not gotten past taking the lid off, and replacing the internal 9 Volt
battery, and looking for obvious smoke emission, which as usual with low power
solid state digital, is not obvious.
Guess I will check power supply and see if it goes west as the thing warms up,
then will look at filter caps and then? Anyone been down this road before?
This one had a lot of use before I got it, as part of one knob's lettering is
worn, but it is clean otherwise. Need to look in a box of papers that came
with it and other stuff, and see if a manual exists. I think someone said the
other day MFJ will freely supply manuals on current stuff?
