Mike and QRP-L Gang,
I wanted to publicly thank Mike Bryce WB8VGE for the nice posting on the
FDIM 97 QRP Symposium (May 15-18) in the April 1997 issue of 73 Magazine.
Mike writes the QRP column every month and he made a nice plug for QRP
Amateur Radio Club International and the QRP ARCI sponsored FDIM 97 event.
Just a quick update - Bob Follett AB7ST, FDIM Registration Chairperson,
(bfollett@ditell.com) told me that registration is now over 80 folks and
still growing. Since FDIM 97 will be held in the bigger Days Inn South
Dayton ballroom this year we will have plenty of room for more registrants.
If you think you'll be attending please let Bob know so we can effectively
plan the lunches and the FREE GIFTS for every one (let's see if that
marketing technique works...)
Anyway thanks again Mike and thanks to all the other columnist and
newsletter editors for your posts of FDIM.
