I am building my newly arrived Ten Tec 1340. So far, so good.

It has occurred to me, this rig and others may benefit by using a
vernier dial. Has anyone been putting vernier dials on their
rigs? If I decide to do this I will wait till after I have used
the rig for a while and see if the tuning is to fast or not.
How have others been mounting the Toroids? The one in the 1340 is
small and light weight. TT suggested paraffin or hot glue. I was
thinking of perhaps bees wax. Any suggestions?
