Hi Jim (and the gang) --
You know, great minds must be in synchrony. I was going to try to
find the details on that
antenna, myself. There must be a QST article on it somewhere, but it's not
in my ARRL Antenna
book, which I find strange, because it seems to be a "standard".
The only possible negative I can think of with that design is that it
may very well
get its broad bandedness by way of terrible gain. I'm always wary of
resistors.
