I haven't experienced this phenonenon since my days in
the Navy - I'd forgot what it was like!
I'm hearing Morse ALL DAY LONG!! In my car - at work, at
home, when I'm on the radio, in the bathroom, EVERYWHERE1
I used to get this when I was learning CW in the Navy - and
forgot how almost SCARY it is!!
I guess the ol' brain gets used to picking up the Morse and
expecting it - and then away from the rig my brain still wants
to copy!! ARRRGHHH!!
