Hey, that's my line. Actually, I was talking the other day with a co-worker
about communications skills and she dubbed me as among the impaired. I
accepted the nomination and went away to duct-tape some office doors open in
a hotel.
Actually, I have been looking at the NC38S project as a tremendous learning
experience. I've completely reevaluated my attitude toward digital stuff
being used in RF apps. Well, ok, reevaluated it some. I haven't gotten around
to tacking another small tx board on aft of Q1/TR1, but the more I think
about it, the more I think that anything above maybe 1 watt is more than I
want to fiddle with. Thus I may leave this puppy at milliwatt level and just
keep it around in my coat pocket for stray radio moments.. . . after I put
the Rainbow Bridge/Tuner in the box... which is getting crowded.
Which brings up the repeat question: (And no, I ain't been to the NorCal home
page in a while and maybe I otter look there) Is there a schemo somewhere of
the various high power stage modifications & rehabs? I'm not that good at
imagining resistors and stuff in my own intellectual void. (Yeah, I hear ya.
.. . "No imagination? Hell, that boy's flat out goofy with imagination. . . He
of the assembly and otters and stuff!")
And I'm sorry about the press stuff too. I'm now subbed to a letterpress list
so I can get EVEN MORE EMAIL TO RESPOND TO! In fact, I already got 15
messages. . .
Ayeeeeee!
