Hi John and all,
Talk about a pile up during the first hour! I was having a
hard time pulling S8 stations out of the mess!!! But I was
loving it......
Then......bingo......things just went almost dead soon after
0300z......
Wound up with a raw count of 73.....missed my 100, but the darn
noise came up here and might have cost me a lot of contacts. There
were some that I could hear in there but just couldn't get enough
of the call to make it. I hope you all got through later.
There were some good siginals from CA early but then the Texans
found us and they put the RF shield up! Not sure if Chuck had
them all out having Pizza or not.......did hear Stan after the
hunt but the QRN here was too bad to even try to stay on.
Head is still ringing!
Will dupe the log and post tomorrow.
