To the person who asked about needing a scope for the alignment of the
OHR 100 rig. I deleted your post so I am unable to respond to your
question directly. I just got my OHR 100 in the mail today as a result
of the group buy (thanks) and to my untrained eye it seems that the need
is due to a double tuned circuit in the VFO. A good discription of this
type of circuit was written by Wes Hayward in QST December 1991 pg 29,
titled THE DOUBLE-TUNED CIRCUIT: AN EXPERIMENTER'S TUTORIAL. It is
reprint in the ARRL publication QRP POWER pg 5-29. The article explains
the tuning procedure and uses a meter circuit which may be an acceptable
substitute for a scope. I don't know if this is any help to you but am
sure you will get a lot of input from this fine group. good luck with
the rig and hope to work you with mine. BTW could not here the FOX at my
QTH in north FL.
