----------Begin Whine------
I got dressed for work, and everything set out so I could get some time in
persuing that elusive NV fox. Fired up the Sierra early. At 0200Z, turned
the KC2 to 7042, and there he was, weak, but readable. Then the MOST
GOD-AWFUL PILEUP!!! Every Texan and Californian and Arizonian in the US was
calling! And Ron was working them!! By 0215Z, he was 579 here, but still
working Texans...etc. I kept trying until 0225Z (which almost made me late
for work), but couldn't break the "redneck curtain."

Signals were TERRIFIC! If I could have stuck around, I am sure the Texans
would have finally run out of propagation, giving us East coasters a shot!
(Yes, and the Californians, Arizonians....)

Ron, you had some pileup. You sure should have broken 100 QSOs. Sorry I
wasn't one of them.
