My hat is off to any of you who works the 40M novice segment, and to the
foxes there...

Late Monday, I noticed the reminder about th 0-land fox at 7.112 area,
and thought I'd go up there and scout for a bit just in case, since I
still have a novice doe-tag intact. Boy, was that a rude awakening! I
sure hope that the band allocations get cleaned up, cause 7.1 to 7.13
will give you a migraine. I thought we had it bad in the old days with
restriction to crystal control.....that's nothing compared to what the
novice guys face now.

The good news is 3 of us met up at 7.1135 for a very cordial "post-fox"
howdy, but that was tough copy for this old geezer.

Never heard you, Brad/fox. But I look forward to meeting again on a
'semi-rationale' band allocation like 30M, etc. Man, that upper 40M is
a war-zone with those BC zombies pumping it out for all they're
worth.....if novices survive that zone, they would have grown some of
the greatest ears in the world.
