OHR-100 question...O'scope?

Hello Gang!

Just got my OHR-100 kit today and first read thru the instruction manual.
I was surprised to see that an oscilloscope is necessary for alignment.
Instructions say that "you cannot align this radio without an
oscilloscope". Well...I am in trouble...I don' t have one. Has anyone
done the alignment without a scope?? Is it possible?? Did not know that a
scope was going to be necessary for alignment of a simple little QRP xcvr.
