American Sub for European Parts???

I'm going to be making the reflected power measurement mod to my HW-8, the
one published in the Autumn 1980 issue of SPRAT by Mike Perry (PA3ASC/G4HWZ).

Anyway, the parts list calls for a FX1596 torroid (14mm OD) and a OA90 diode.

Could someone please tell me what the American equivalents are for these
parts???
