Got a question, actually a couple...
Kite Flyers...
How big of a kite are you using to hold up the longwires, and how
long are the wires you're using. I'm thinking of getting a larger box kite
for QRPTTF and laying out 30 and/or 40 meters of 14 ga stranded wire for my
radiator. SUGGETIONS or IDEAS!
Antenna experts...
I also plan to take my slightly modified SLV. I plan to work at the
waters edge in Gulf Breeze, at the picnic table where they have all the UFO
sightings there. Instead of all the ground radials, can I just send 50 feet
or so of older wire oput into the salt water for the counterpoise. Or maybe
mount the antenna on a raft and let it float around on the water. Again,
suggestions or ideas!!
