Barry,
Congrats on the upgrade and the party. I showed up
but I really think that the tree limb that fell on
my antenna a while back did some serious damage now
or the recent rains have leaked in and made me a
real good dummy load. The puppy comes down after
lunch today (I get some time off today for weekend
travel. Wow, such a deal.) and back up in time for
the test tonight. So I was a wallflower for this
party, but I know you will be on the air with the
rest of us for 30M, you do have a rig now for the
new spectrum that opens up to you?
Thanks to you and all the other N/T+'s that stuck
with it and showed that all it takes is time and
energy and the rewards will follow. That is worth
more to us as a group than all the rest of the DX
in the world we could work and all the rigs we
can ever build.
You done good kid. You got your diploma (your new
ticket) and the party looked good. Now what you
gonna do for your graduate degree? Hmmm. Extra
sounds good. Just don't get off the air. Get on
as much as possible. You are cruising now kiddo.
Don't let the pressure get to you. :-) ;-)
