At the risk of possibly endangering my marriage, home and job -- Is
there any significant interest in a group order for Anderson Power Pole
connectors?
I will have copies of our unofficial standard configuration printed
and available for an SASE.
The catalog price is currently $0.40 cents each for one connector
shell and contact (you need two to connect one wire) (four for a pair of
wires). The price break at 1000 pieces should be attainable, which will
put them at somethiong under $0.35 and I have a local distributor who may
be able to do a HAM deal, and do even better. I buy the much larger
sized ones from him in quantities of 100. He has been very generous
with the local amateur radio club.
I will inquire about what kind of a deal can be arranged in the
mean time, and will check with the post office about sending out a
sample. I'm not sure what the restrictions might be about a 'lump' in a
regular envelope.
