Folks,
This afternoon, in a fine mood, I sent out a message to
this list, and the introduction went something like this:
"Dear QRP-Heads"
I recieved an email from another list member informing me
that he'd been a QRP op for many many years, and that he
was NOT a "QRP-head, a Hammy, or any other of the new
slang words going around"
He told me he was a "Ham Radio Operator, OR a QRP'er,
OR an Amatuer Radio Operator"
Jeez Louise! Some people are NO fun!!
So in the future, if I call the collective list:
"Dear QRP-Heads,"
PLEASE - it's OKAY -it's NOT a slam, it's not an
insult, it's just my style - having a little fun....and if you
ARE offended by it - don't waste your time and mine
by emailing me and telling me okay??
And...while you're at it .. you can LIGHTEN UP!!
There, I feel better - and I am proud to say that other than
this little bit of trivial sillines I've found this list to be
SUPER GREAT!! Keep up the good work - I'm learning
a LOT from you folks!!
