Hi from VK5-land,

I have just received my 38S kit and am I ever impressed! The quality is
just superb, and the manual is the best I have ever seen. I am really
looking forward to working you all on 30 meters. Just a couple of
questions -

i) the pots used for tuning and RIT etc, are they linear or log?

ii) You guys won't believe me, but IRF 510/511 are just not available
in South Australia, not at any price, I have tried
everywhere. What alternatives can I use?
