I have recently acquired some new toys, and want to pass along an old
reliable one.
This HW8 has the following modifications:
phono jack antenna connector replaced with so239,
1/8 stereo jack added for 8 ohm stereo headphones, (will also drive
un-powered WalkMan type speaker)
30 meter conversion from HW8 Handbook which removed 80 meters.
I am unaware of any other alterations to the original circuits.
It includes copies of the manual and HW8 Handbook. I never had the
originals.
I purchased the rig from its original owner three years ago, and
have used it extensively from my apartment, mostly on 30 and 40
meters. If you worked me on 40 during FSFD, you heard it.

I'd rather sell, but I'll consider a trade involving qrp gear for
17, 12, 10, or 6 meters, or a dsp audio filter (excluding the
dsp40).
