Hi to all,
I have been reading the posts to this group for some time now and
attempted to send a message awhile back. I was wondering how to go
about joining this fantastic group. After my last posting my laptop got
a virus and it has been awhile since I could get back on(I hpe that
 doesn't happen this time).HI HI

I get the list as a newsgroup thru my local(B'ham,Al.) ham BBS but am
on the Internet now also. If I cud impose (I don't think this great
group knows what that is, all of you are so unselfish and helpfull)
upon the group, I have some questions.

 1. What is 72 ?

 2. Is there a listing of the novice/tech(my class,tech) fox nites ?

 3. I need info on a good ant. tuner for portable use ?

I've already built a SLV, hadn't had a chance to try it yet, got a
 SD-20 at local Wally-World. I have a TS-830s that I turn down at home
 and a CM Howes 40m xciver kit that I use at work/portable. I run a G5RV
at home and a longwire and/or hamstick at work. I started out with a
Ramsay TX/RX but am wanting to sell that. Again I can't tell all of you
what a great group of knowledgeable, friendly, helpfull guys that I've
 seen here on this notebook.

73 es look fwd to getting more involved de Jim KD4KZQ
