Back Home Again / Sierra Mods?

Howdy Folks,

Back from my latest little business excursion, and
am happy to report that I got much smarter this time
around - I brought along my unbuilt Sierra "motherboard"
and Ungar soldering station. Oddly, despite all the
equipment/parts I brought along, airport security just
whisked me through. Contrast this with my sister-in-
law who, two weeks ago, had her bags searched due to
a suspicious bottle of mousse. Guess I look too
innocent for my own good....

Thanks to my usual "travel insomnia" hitting hard I
found myself with plenty of time to build up the main
board over two nights. What a great looking little rig!

Now I just need to build a few band modules and (thanks
to a fortunate flaw in my genetic makeup) I actually
*like* winding toroids, so should be fun. :-)

Which leads me to... Sierra mods. Is there a website
that has 'em? NorCal and Wilderness Radio webpages
didn't (unless I missed 'em). If not, I'll gather all
I can and make a Sierra Mod webpage. Let me know!

Thanks!

Cheers de AB7TT,

"What, a RAW FROG?!? Don't you even take the bones out?"
"If we took the bones out they wouldn't be crunchy, would they?"
