Hey Gang,

FSFD was not only fun, but quite a surprise in the way of propagation.
When the condx peaked in December for those 5-6 days it looked like this was
going to be easy pickens. No way was this an easy activity. Unless you're
retired, you faced the time problem plus the cruddy conditions and of course
the sudden loss of the ND volunteer.

The New Jersey QRP Club (http://www.njqrp.org) is providing 2 Rainbow
Tuners as awards for this activity. The first will go to Jim-AL7FS for his
high Q-total of 98, and the 2nd Tuner will be given to the winner of a
drawing from a list of all the volunteers at a dinner during FDIM.

Special regognition goes to Bob-N4BP who worked a close second total QSO
total of 94. There were many on the receiving line who worked over 40
states...quite an accomplishment for this type of activity.

Bob Hightower-KI7MN gets the "atta boy" award for his superb job handling
of the Website info and updates. Next year the new NJ-QRP site will take on
that responsibility. Thanks Bob.

Personal thanks to all who participated and especially those who offered
suggestions. Those suggestions really helped make it better. It was nice
to get to know so many nice folks.

Help Mike (still on knees in front of burning delivery truck) with 50/40/30
and we'll send out awards to all who want them after his activity is finished.

See you in FSFD-98 Jim K3QIO Delaware
