It was interesting to run into your message here after also seeing the one
on APRSSIG! So, there are at least two of us who follow these two lists.
I've thought about the same thing. In fact, an APRS-devoted 30m QRP rig
should be simpler than many of the rigs we fiddle with. It could be rock
bound and I suppose could be direct FSK.
