I downloaded and printed the Tektronics "XYZ's of Oscilloscopes"
today. It takes a while at 36 pages(at least with my old dot printer in
the graphics mode), but it is well worth the effort.
There are sections on What is an Oscilloscope, Terminology, Setting
up , Control Operation, and there are many graphics and even a quiz at
the end.
Another basic reference for 'Scopes is an old Heathkit manual. There
are some good points to learn from the basic operation sections of the
Heathkit manuals.
Now, Where does one go to find that information on a Spectrum
Analyser? I looked at the Tektronics URL( http://www.tektronics.com) ,
but didn't find anything yet. I left a message there, so hopefully I
will have better luck soon.
