Folks,

Tonight (Monday 3/3/97 EST) I was having some QRP fun working the Spartan
Sprint .. Lots of nice QRP signals heard and worked (K1OJ thanks for trying
to pull me out of the QRM, maybe next time)... But at about 0315z I heard
"CQ de VP2V/K1DW" on 3560.0 ... quick .. I call him (Hummm, just like a
hunter after a fox) at about 30 wpm (I am running 4 watts). A second later,
his response: WA1QVM 599 TU K. So I respond: "TU 599 NR BOSTON QRP 4W 72
AR" ... and K1DW sends "BK BK QSL QSL QRP TU 72 SK"

It's the quick exchanges like this that makes me happy to be QRP ... and
just love this hobby...

72,

/joel wa1qvm (concord, ma)
