Hi gang,
Just finished tonites Spartan Sprint and "what a night". A
couple of QSO's made it a LOT of fun...
The first one was with KQ4XX. He is in TN which is no big deal
except - he was running 50 MILLIWATTS!!!
The second was a qso with AA7QF from Oregon with him running 2W
and me (in SC) running 1 watt. In my best Harry Karry voice -
"HOLY COW!!!"
All this using the 'lil 'ol 89er Plus running 1 watt out on 80.
Guess you can't say my station was doing *any* of the "work"!
Thanks to those two stations who hung in there for me!!
The night was a good one for me, working 10 states on 80 mtrs!
