I filed Sprint results via the ARS web page automated entry, but here's
the scoop for public record (almost ashamed to post):
======================================================================
My ears hurt.....weird 40M QSB - 1 minute nothing, next 10 stations
making dx pile-type noises. I apologize if I stepped on any toes...I
moved when I heard 'em come back up.....

Only 4 Q's and 1-band/40 meters. But the good news is that the #&#@!$$%
7AH heavy battery is history - got me a new super-stealth 2 AH job to
cut some weight. Bad news is I used my sub-notebook cpu as a keyer;
great practice for field day, but the box weighs 3.5 pounds:

        Emtech NW40 = 1.3
        Whiterook key=0.1
        Battery =2.3
        Notebook CPU =3.5

        TOTAL: 7.2 Lbs
                      4.0 Q's AA7QU-az /K1OJ-tx /W3TU-pa /NQ7K-az

        SCORE: 0.55 Qs/Lb

BTW, the subnotebook is a very small, but ancient, Gateway 80286/V30
that eats AA batteries which is nice for field use/fybo/etc. - I can
always add batteries - can't always find an outlet to recharge........

Good clean fun, and thanks to ARS for hosting event.
