Exactly! Ol'e Karl is viewing QRP-L as a bunch of sheep! We get all worked
up, defensive, indignant, and he's sitting back, probably laughing himself
silly.
Come on, guys and girls, get a grip! Karl entered the QRP radio kit business
with RadioKit, royally failed, got into some potential litigation problems,
and, in my opinion, is a bitter, loser.
My humble suggestion. Stop wasting time discussing challenging remarks by
Extras with little experience, failed businessmen, (including Wayne G.), and
the age-old ARRL non-ARRL debate. We are QRPers, and should focus on
promoting our segment of the hobby, operating, and having fun. This stuff
just doesn't fit, in my opinion.
Just like any successful CEO would tell us, Praise and Promote in public,
criticize in Private. If any of you feel compelled by to challenge
anyone/anything that is an insult to QRP, feel free, but please, don't post it
to our list. We ARE QRPers, we don't need to see how clever you are in
putting down some inane comments made by others in our ham "fraternity".
There, now I feel better. Flame away, if you must, but a strong, outrageous,
'private' reply will follow :-)
