TenTec Scout problem

Doubtless my own stupid error, BUT, my wonderful new used Scout is locked
on X.142, no matter which band module I put in. No output as far as I can
tell. Is there a "reset" button somewhere to unlock the VFO? Or is this a
box lunch for Tentec repair?
Any advice will be most welcome
