1 MAR 97 (don't believe my computer clock -- I'm not there yet!)
Different strokes for different folks, but I get excited about
warbling and chirpy signals, especially very weak signals -- There
has to be some interesting story behind that signal -- junk box, new
design, far off place, super low pwr. What drives me crazy is the
guy with a clear signal calling CQ time after time and he just does
not have his gain up enough or his ear tuned for my clear as a bell
QRP signal.
As for keys, sorry guys but the J-38 in both table and knee models
are my favorite. No - can't drive em at 22 WPM, can't copy at that
speed either!
Dit Dit or Dah Dah? No thumbs for me -- microsoft mouse is the best,
can use the index finger or give'm the fickled finger of fate, but no
more thumbs for me! I use the index finger for the dits. Again,
different fingers for different folks.
Too bad this list is so long these days -- no time for radio -- I
need another vacation!
