I can't help but admit I actually bought that book, "NASA Mooned
America". I read it and then tore all his arguments to shreds. Sent
letters to Wayne and to the author. I was told by the author (and Wayne)
that I didn't know what I was talking about and he (Rene') was obviously
correct. Wayne still insists that no one has seriously challenged Rene's
claims. Well, I think I did a pretty good job.

All I can say is that book is a work of contrived BS, faulty reasoning,
scientific sounding gobbly gook and a healthy imagination. (and gives
the CIA much more credit then they deserve. If you like grand conspiracy
theories, this is a good one) But I have a nice signed copy of the book
and some correspondence with author, calling me a crack pot!

Oh, by the way, Rene' also claims the Hubble telescope is a hoax, not
that it doesn't exist, just that it can't see into outer space and the
pictures it takes are fakes...it's real purpose is to spy on us! The
astronomers in our group might think otherwise..

I lost a lot of respect for Wayne over that. Believing in that kind of
drivel and that UFO's are from outer space, makes me feel Wayne has gone
over the deep end. Too bad, as I generally agree with a lot of his other
stuff...

Sorry for the bandwidth, as this has nothing to do with anything...just
an interesting diversion and observation. And learned it's a total waste
of time arguing with these guys...(my minds made up, don't bother me with
true facts)
