Hi Dana... in Marshall's defense I would suggest that he did not
particularly attack the author personally, but was primarily reputing that
author's methods, presumptions, and unfounded implications. Marshall DID
suggest the author might be a newcomer/nocode/etc. which was apparently
incorrect-but that was not the thrust of his argument, and should not be
the issue of concern about the article in general.
