Guys,
That was no clown.
That was Ron Carpenter, KN5GDI, 1956.
He was my neighbor.
He and I were in the same High School.
He and I had the same elmer.
He and I were first licensed as novices about the same time.
It was easier then. At that time, beer cans were TIN and
easily soldered. Ron erected a beer can vertical of about
30 or 35 feet. Making solder stick to aluminum is somewhat
more difficult.

Charles Cashion, W5ISZ, Did you hear abt the two electrical engineers
that got into a fight over JK flip flops versus D flip flops? It took
the police to break it up. They reported it as the flip flop flap.
