Hi all. I have just completed my GM-30, my first major kit, and have an
apparent small problem. Any help will be appreciated. In a nut shell,
my final output is only about half a watt (with 13.8 V). The only thing I
noticed as I went along that seemed out of the ordinary was that during
the LO Alignment and the TX Alignment the variable caps provided very
little (almost zero actually) change in the amplitude of the signal on the
oscilloscope.
Any suggestions?
