Howdy All,
Well, after letting my wife take a long nap and taking
her out to dinner, I'd managed to replenish enough "Good
Husband" points to allow me to get on the air for the
last half hour of the CQC test. :-) 40m was dead as a
doornail when I got there, or so I thought. It'd just
gone very loooooong. Both AL7FS and VE6ZAA answered my
call. Jim and John. Nice to chat with them, but not much
for multipliers. Not that my "Joe" helped them out either. :-)
Don't suppose there's an award category for "Worked
Fewest Stations"? Hee hee.
Next year I'm grabbing the cross-country skis, finding
some serious terrain, and seeing if I can work 50 states
2xQRP for ARS WAS in one weekend. Yeah I know, but ya
gotta dream...
