Hi all !!!

Been enjoying this group for a month now and thought I'd ask an antenna
question.

Has anyone tried a multiband dipole or inverted vee made from ribbon cable ?
I had a multiband inverted vee at my home QTH for over a year with pretty
good,(non-scientific) results . Last monsoon season 100mph winds re-kitted
the ant and most of my home. So..I,ve been thinking of putting up something
less cosmetically objectionable to the XYL. Thought maybe ribbon cable
might be easier to maintain and another one could be used for portable
operation.

My original was made from cheap steal wire elements (Walmart), joined to a
current balun and connected thru RG8X to my tunerless TS140.

Anyway I'd like some opinions....and before u ask, I like it all QRP QRPp
and QRO.

re-kitted: model airplane jargon for an unintended abrupt landing.
