        Hello Gang,

I have been working on the "CCI QRP to QRO KIT".

First of all it is far from a completed kit for plug and play
operation. It is a broad frequency base amplifier that needs
a lot of "Home Brew", to make it work properly.

First of all you get just the amp. no box, no filters.
The filters can be bought seperately, and I guess this is
where the "Complete Kit", is left up to the builder to
finish. There is a very basic feed back protection ckt.
as part of the amp itself. There is no over drive ckt. You must
come up with this yourself.

There are no, knobs, meters, jacks, and switches.

So to say that CCI provides a complete kit really depends on
what you mean by complte?

To me it means that I can,buy it, build it, and use it
without buying anything else. This is hardly the
case here.

There is no law against any ham building such an
amplifier.( One with less than 50 watts of drive).

I am robbing (copying) a schematic in the ARRL hand book
that has as it's basic amplifier, this very CCI
amplifier. It is a Motorola Application Note, AN 762.
So the borrowed swr, and protections circuits should
work just fine.
