Hi, Mike,

IMHO, ARRL has always offered a lot of support to QRP, especially in
recent years. The number of avid QRPers on staff waxes and wanes as
people come and go, but we have done our best to promote the banner from
within. :-)

Many of the construction projects have been QRP, due primarily to the
fact that QRP lends itself to simple construction and design, but I
appreciate that the editors recognize this and select articles
accordingly. Besides, in life you sometimes have to take it any way you
can get it. :-)

Over the years, we have added QRP categories to a number of contests and
awards, have published a number of books on QRP, etc. All in all, I
think that the percentage of ARRL QRP-related activities is at least
equal to the percentage of hams who regularly operate QRP, and probably
then some.

I will point out, too, that much of what gets published in QST is
directly dependent on what comes in! If the QRP community thinks we need
to have more QRP articles, write 'em up and send 'em in! This can range
from construction articles to "Gee we just had fun with QRP" to a novel
use of components in a QRP transmitter (great fodder for QEX!), etc.
