Do you know anyone that has actually had a 6m amplifier type accepted?
If I read the rules correctly, it is essentially impossible to get a
6m amplifier type accepted; the ones for sale now are covered under the
grandfather clause in Part 97.

Which brings up another question. Would the 2m amp design work in Ten-Tec's
new 6m mobile FM rig ?? I am sure that filter components would be
different, but overall, if I wish to add an amp to the 6m rig, could I
basically follow their 2m design, maybe even mod the 2m amp option from
the 2m rig??
Just curious - I will, more than likely, get their transverter anyway !!!
