Hello to all.
I have a new friend who is paraplegic, and was wondering if anyone could
tell me some information:
    (1) What are the current rules concerning testing, etc. I think he
could learn the code and copy ok, but doubt he could send it.
    (2) Is there a good book or book/tape available that would introduce him
to amateur radio.
    (3) What would be the best/least expensive way for him to get on phone?
 Something that has VOX capability.

If anyone has been through this before, your comments would be most
helpful. I think amateur radio would be a God-send to him, as he is 57 years
old and has been paralyzed from an accident for the past 28 years. He is
intelligent, talkative, and would be a good addition to this hobby. Thanks
for your input!
