PAoSSB in the Netherlands over the course of a few years designed an all
band (all mode?) TRX for all HF bands plus 6 and 2 m. He made it quite
fancy (like in sound design, no compromise) and planned to sell as a
kit. O/P 50 W. He didn't get enough orders to go through with it, so he
decided to try a cut-down version. I think the full kit would have cost
about 8000 US$. If I remember well complaints were: it's too much money
and some parts the owner won't be able to repair on his own.
